Alchemy Residential Club opens through the winter as a quieter, slower kind of stay. Where the summer season fills the land with retreats, community and outdoor life, winter does the opposite. The campus empties. The pace drops. And 42 acres of southern Tuscan hillside become, more or less, yours.
This is not a retreat and not a hotel. It is a residency: a warm private room, a shared kitchen to cook in on your own schedule, reliable internet in the Main House, and long uninterrupted days to write, work, walk or rest.
If you have been looking for somewhere to finish the book, work a season away from the city, or take a real pause between chapters, this is what winter at ASHA is for.

Writers and makers get the long, undisturbed days their work needs. Remote workers get a warm, beautiful base far from the January grey at home. And anyone in need of a real pause gets somewhere quiet enough to actually take one.

No meals are included: the winter residency is self-catering, with full use of the kitchen. The pool and outdoor summer facilities are closed for the season.
ACCOMMODATION & RATES
Winter rooms,
20% below summer
Winter rates are 20% below our summer prices across every room type. Private rooms and cottages sit across the 42-acre campus, all heated, all self-catering.
Longer stays are rewarded: 15% off for a week, 30% off for a month. A single ensuite over a monthly stay works out at around €62 a night.
Because we concentrate winter guests into fewer heated buildings, your exact room may differ from the one pictured. It will always match the standard, bathroom type and bed count you booked. Housing residents close together keeps the buildings warm and lets a small community form naturally.
RATES & DISCOUNTS
Simple, honest winter pricing
Rooms from €88/night, 20% below summer. The longer you stay, the further it drops, because winter is made for settling in properly.
GOOD TO KNOW
Booking and arrival
Book direct at asha.bookeddirectly.host, the same as the summer season. Winter is quiet on the land, so arrival is handled a little differently.
Arrival
Check-in is handled by our on-site caretaker, or by secure lock-box where that is simpler. Full arrival details follow your booking. Check-in from 3pm, check-out by 10am, no arrivals after 10pm.
Food & Supplies
The residency is self-catering with full kitchen access. Nearby towns for groceries are a short drive.
Bring what you need for the first night or two.
Winter practicalities
Every room is heated. WiFi is in the Main House; cottages are warm but WiFi-free. Bring layers and good boots.
Winter here is beautiful, and it is real.
